WELCOME TO THE FESTIVAL OF LEARNING!
This year’s theme is “Pangangalaga sa Kalikasan” or “Caring for the Environment”. Volunteers and community members will come together for a celebration of arts, storytelling, song, dance, and theater for children living in poverty.
Together, we will bring the Festival of Learning to 500 children in five communities: Manila North Cemetery, Pandacan, Tulay in Paco, and to two relocation sites – Norzagaray and Calauan.
We will take the children to places where they can experience the beauty of nature. Let this summer be a source of plentiful opportunities for them to celebrate life.
For this, we need your help!
We need volunteers to help us facilitate the workshops. Don’t worry if you do not have any experience of this kind. As long as you have a genuine desire to help children living in poverty, then you will be perfect for the role.
The festival is a brilliant opportunity for you to share your skills, learn from the talents of others, and create a peaceful and joyful place for kids to learn.
Here is our schedule of activities, which will be held on afternoons on the following days:
April 3-6 – North Cemetery
April 10-13 – Calauan, Laguna
April 24-27 – Tulay in Paco
May 1-4 – Pandacan
May 10-11 – Norzagaray, Bulacan
Mar 12-15,19-20 - Preparation Days
To volunteer, sign up and message us on Facebook so we can add you to a group chat where more specific directions shall be given.
We appreciate any amount! Your gift will help us reach our goal of Php 67,000.
The funds raised will go for food, transportation, communication, art and reading materials, outings with the kids, and allowance for the facilitators.

The FESTIVAL OF LEARNING aims to provide educational, recreational, and cultural opportunities for children who have fewer opportunities to enjoy the summer vacation.
It highlight the talents and creativity of children living in extreme poverty and their commitment to making a positive change in society.
Altogether in Dignity (ATD) is an NGO that works with individuals and institutions to find solutions to eradicate extreme poverty. We had been conducting street libraries, art activities and educational seminars for impoverished communities in Metro Manila since 1989.
We regularly visit resettlement areas in Bulacan and Laguna, where some of our ATD families have relocated.
Our headquarters in the Philippines is at 1225 Labores Street, Pandacan, Manila.
Thank you! We hope to see you soon!
