Mission statement

The organization’s vision is to have a university of excellence acknowledged in the country and in the Asia-Pacific Region for quality and knowledge to socio-economic needs. On the other hand, its mission was to provide quality and relevant education that will develop highly qualified and competitive human resources responsive to national and regional development.


Before, Bataan Peninsula State University was called Bataan State College but because it was established by virtue of Republic Act 9403, signed into law on 22 March 2007 the said college become university. It is a conglomeration of higher education institutions in Bataan. As the conversion has been placed, the Campus Student Council of Bataan Peninsula State University Balanga Campus has been founded too. It is composed of Campus Student Council (CSC) President, Vice-President and seven (7) Senators with the elected Adviser. The student council was under the Office of the Student Affairs handling the inside and outside students’ activities of the school. The organization’s vision is to have a university of excellence acknowledged in the country and in the Asia-Pacific Region for quality and knowledge to socio-economic needs. On the other hand, its mission was to provide quality and relevant education that will develop highly qualified and competitive human resources responsive to national and regional development. The main role of a Student Council is to promote the interests of the school and the involvement of students in the affairs of the school, in co-operation with the board, parents and teachers. A Student Council has its own objectives: ¬ to enhance communication between students, management, staff and parents, ¬ to promote an environment conducive to educational and personal development, ¬ to promote volunteerism and passion to serve in the community, to support the management and staff in the development of the school ¬, to represent the views of the students on matters of general concern with regards to them.
