It occupies a 1.004 hectare land area donated by the Sibalom Elementary School.
The school envisions to be a high performing secondary school with conducive learning environment, competent teachers and producing high-achievers and value oriented graduates. It commits itself to the task of delivering relevant and quality education that will develop the intellectual, moral and spiritual values of the youths to become productive individuals in a friendly learning environment through the active support of stakeholders. Through its activities, the school aspires to provide opportunities for academic excellence, values formation and skills development of 90% of its students population and employment of at least 25% of the professionals in the community.
Sibalom National High School was established in 2003 through the initiative of the parents and LGU officials of the municipality of Sibalom and the Province of Antique. It has served and responded to the needs of the graduates of 47 elementary schools of the 76 barangays in the municipality of Sibalom, Antique for the past 9 years.
During the preparation of the proposed conversion of Polytechnic State College of Antique to a university, acceptance of first year students was significantly reduced thereby affecting hundreds of displaced elementary graduates in Sibalom, forcing them to enroll at other national high schools located outside the poblacion having an average of 5km. distance.
Cognizant to the adverse economic impact, local government officials, facilitated the creation of Sibalom Community High School (Pis-anan National High School-Annex) through the Antique Provincial Board Resolution No. 197-2003 and Sangguniang Bayan Resolution No. 4-2002.
In the first year of its operation, Sibalom Community National High School has relieved the decongestions of the other five (5) national high schools.
On August 27, 2005 through the Government Recognition No 19s. 2005, the Pis-anan National High School-Annex was separated from the mother school and recognized as Sibalom Community National High School. And on January 15, 2010, Republic Act 9964 was signed by PGMA converting it into a national high school now known as Sibalom National High School.
