to respond and help children, the elderly, the pregnant and persons with disability (vulnerable age groups) affected by disasters and calamities.
We are a group of like-minded individuals who started volunteering during typhoon Sendong in Cagayan de Oro, Philippines. When typhoon Bopha struck the province of Davao Oriental and Comval, we got connected and decided to respond as a group. Currently, our project is in Cateel, Davao Oriental we named Balai Dulaanan (Playhouse). This will cater to the needs of children for a normal play environment. From here, we intend to identify their individual needs and do appropriate intervention. We are composed of occupational therapists, educators, doctors, psychologists, nurses, entrepreneurs, and government workers. We are open to volunteers willing to help those affected by disasters and calamities.
