Mission statement

Tree Planting for tender loving the Earth, for your Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as Climate change adaptation and risk mitigation measure. And contribution to Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) #Laiban #Bataan #BiaknaBato #Calatagan #Pagbilao

Climate change and global warming pose big challenges to communities and threaten the livelihood of people by bringing harsh weather conditions. Storms are getting stronger and summers are getting hotter. These lead to the rising sea level, the melting of snow caps, and more. Poor fisher folks are losing their homes due to strong storm surges.

One of the successful adaptation measures in response to climate change is Community Mangrove Ecotourism. It involves tapping a community of fisherfolks living around the mangrove forest to protect and nurture the nursery. Mangroves provide many benefits in terms of economic, social, educational, and environment conservation. Mangrove roots can serve a marine sanctuary for juvenile fish. Trees can serve as protection from storm surges, carbon sink, and they can prevent soil erosion and landslides.
