Mission statement

Right Start exists to provide high quality creative caring spaces and opportunities for the neediest children in the community.

<div> <div>RIGHT START COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT INC. Right Start began as a response to the unmet needs of children living in poverty.  Our desire to bridge the gap for the younger generation in order that our nation will even have a fighting chance to have a better world tomorrow fuels our organization.</div> <div> </div> <div>Right Start Community Development, Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit, non-government organization that centers on underprivileged Filipino children. It exists to provide the children with growth opportunities that nurture their full creative potential. Right Start believes that by giving this opportunity to children, we are able to intervene in their personal development while they are in their formative years.</div> <div> </div> <div>Right Start currently operates at West Crame, the biggest barangay in San Juan. The Right Start Center has become refuge and creative center for mothers and children. It not only gives them access to a positive learning environment, but a life-changing experience through regular interaction with teachers and volunteers who promote godly values, encourage respect for individuality, model work excellence, and inspire love for country. Despite their adverse conditions, both children and their mothers grow to understand their value in God, in their family and in their community.</div> <div> </div> <div> <div>We firmly believe that as we intervene in the lives of these children while they are young through a well-designed creative caring space, it will empower them to be creative and productive. This will help break the cycle of poverty in their lives. Right Start hopes that through its work, each child will live a significant life and become a positive contribution to society thus empowered to take part in nation building.</div> </div> </div>
