<ul><li>Magkakasama sa Sakahan Kaunlaran Incorporated (MAGSASAKA INC.) was founded on September 9, 2016 by Mr. Dexter Villamin, President of DV Boer Farm International (DVBFI), to empower people in the field of agriculture. MAGSASAKA Inc. is joined by more than 80 sub-farm owners nationwide who serve as chapter chairmen in their respective municipality.</li><li>As a Non-Stock, Non-Profit Organization (NGO) registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission, MAGSASAKA seeks to help alleviate the socio-economic condition of marginalized groups of people by providing additional capital pursuant to R.A. 8425.</li><li>We seek to train farmer on modern farming methodologies to improve yield and productivity. MAGSASAKA Inc. supports agriculture related projects like swine program, corn silage production, aquaculture program among others. Farmers are also encouraged to propose ventures that will contribute to community improvement.</li><li>Livelihood Programs<ul><li><strong>Corn Silage Livelihood Program</strong> is a livelihood platform developed and implemented by MAGSASAKA Inc., which aims to provide assistance and uplift local farmers through cultivation of corn for silage production which will give them the opportunity to maximize their resources and income through corn growing and silage processing.</li><li><strong>Livestock breeding and fattening livelihood program</strong> aims to ensure food and security and provision for low-cost meat products for ever Filipino. The program aims to address the current challenges by developing technologies and systems that are expected to improve the productivity and production efficiency. Through these initiatives, the program seeks to create new opportunities by providing employment and increase the overall competitivenes of Philippine livestock industry.</li><li><strong>Aquaculture</strong> is the farming of various types of fish and other aquatic animals. Fish show great promise as a “crop” that respond well to the benefits of being raised in a controlled environment.</li><li><strong>PAMAMALAKAYA</strong> Livelihood Program is a program developed by MAGSASAKA Inc. which aims to help the poorest of the poor fishermen by supporting them with the equipment and resources needed in their daily sea operations and by providing market for the captured fishes. This livelihood program also intends to partake an impact to the growth of the fishery sub-sector</li></ul></li></ul>
