SAO Philippines is a non-profit Christian organization dedicated to holistic child rights-based community development. We began in 1996 as a result of Baptist World Aid Australia’s (BWAA) “Support An Orphan” Program – a child sponsorship program implemented through local churches. Over the years, the program evolved to provide children with health education, social support, and opportunities to use their gifts to influence their communities. Since then, SAO Philippines continues to build purposeful partnerships with vulnerable children, their families, and communities in overcoming the challenges of poverty, injustice, and building resilience in all of life.
