To provide an alternative home for boys in need through human and spiritual growth, education, and safeguarding.
Founded in 1989 by the Marist Fathers (Society of Mary), the Foundation of Balay Pasilungan, Inc. began as a simple refuge for boys living and working on the streets of Davao City. It has since grown into a DSWD-accredited institution offering Residential Care and Transitional Care Programs, including education, health, and psychosocial services.
For more than three decades, Balay Pasilungan has been a home of transformation — where children once forgotten rediscover love, dignity, and hope.
Our Vision: A community of empowered, productive, and responsible children and youth who contribute to a compassionate and just society.
Provide holistic care — physical, educational, emotional, and spiritual.

Ensure accountability and sustainability through good governance.Balay Pasilungan provides a lifeline for street children—offering not just a shelter, but a path to healing, education, and a hopeful future.
Governance & Safeguarding
Balay Pasilungan is guided by Marist values of mercy, compassion, and integrity. Oversight is provided by a Board of Trustees and an Executive Director supported by social workers, educators, psychologists, and house parents.
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for abuse or neglect, with clear child safeguarding protocols, transparent financial systems, and regular audits.
