The Wishing Crane Project – Cebu (TWCP Cebu) is a student-led chapter of The Wishing Crane Project, a youth-driven nonprofit organization based in Arizona, USA. Our chapter engages young volunteers in creating handmade paper cranes, cards, and other arts and crafts intended to bring encouragement and comfort to individuals in hospitals, hospices, and communities in need.
Through volunteer activities, workshops, donation drives, and creative projects, TWCP Cebu provides young people with opportunities to use their time and creativity for meaningful service. Our activities also introduce participants to the cultural significance of the paper crane and encourage values of hope, kindness, compassion, and active citizenship.
We collaborate with schools, youth organizations, universities, community groups, and other partners to organize volunteer opportunities and service-oriented activities. As a student-led chapter, we aim to make volunteering accessible, creative, and meaningful while fostering a culture of compassion and community involvement.
