Bring Stories to Life: Volunteer Storytellers

Help bring stories to life for children in need at SOS Children’s Village Davao. As a storyteller volunteer, you will engage children by reading and sharing meaningful stories that spark imagination, encourage learning, and create moments of joy. Your time, voice, and enthusiasm will help create a warm and memorable experience for the children.

Qualifications

  • Willingness to volunteer and work with children
  • Ability to read and speak clearly
  • Patient, friendly, and engaging personality
  • Comfortable speaking in front of a small group
  • No prior storytelling experience required

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Read and share age-appropriate stories with the children
  • Encourage interaction through voice, expression, and engagement
  • Help foster a fun, safe, and positive learning environment
  • Coordinate with facilitators throughout the session
