Arts & Culture, Persons with Disability | Mar 22, 2026 | Volunteer Event

In celebration of Araw ng Davao 2026, the Sign Language Interpreters of Davao (SLIDAR) and the Davao United Deaf Association (DUDA) invite you to a unique fusion of art and advocacy. “Hands of Davao” is a creative, inclusive experience designed to bridge the gap between the hearing and Deaf communities through the power of Filipino Sign Language (FSL) and visual expression.

This isn't just a workshop—it’s a living gallery. Participants will learn basic FSL vocabulary centered around the vibrant culture of Davao City. To bring these signs to life, their hands will serve as canvases, with symbols and colors representing the beauty of our shared home.

Calling all Artists: Volunteer Opportunity 🖌️
