Planting for the Future: 3 Million Trees Campaign

Be part of “Tree of Hope,” a meaningful volunteer opportunity at the Philippine Eagle Center where you will help prepare, nurture, and care for native tree seedlings.

These seedlings are the foundation of our commitment to restoring the Philippine Eagle’s forest habitat and directly support the Planting for the Future: 3 Million Trees Campaign, launched in 2024 by the Philippine Eagle Foundation and its partners.

🌱Volunteer Tasks:

  • Organizing and cleaning the reforestation nursery area
  • Filling seedling bags and preparing soil mixes
  • Watering, weeding, and caring for young seedlings
  • Assisting in nursery maintenance and monitoring

🛎️Volunteer Reminders:

  • Wear comfortable, outdoor-appropriate clothing and closed shoes
  • Bring your own snacks, water bottle, and (optional) gloves or hat
  • Be ready to get your hands a little dirty—and your heart a little fuller

🎁Volunteer Perks:

  • Free of charge
  • E-Certificate of participation
  • A unique opportunity to contribute to national reforestation and eagle conservation

🌏Your Impact

By volunteering, you’re playing a vital role in the early stages of a long-term reforestation mission—helping PEF reach its target of planting 3 million native and fruit-bearing trees across 1,200 hectares of degraded eagle habitats. The seedlings you nurture today will soon take root in eagle nesting sites throughout Mindanao, restoring biodiversity and hope for future generations.
