Gear Integrity & Storage Optimization

Community Development, Health & Well-being, Volunteerism | May 03, 2026 | Volunteer Event

We are calling for a focused team of volunteers to join us at SOS Children's Village Davao to conduct a systematic inventory audit and storage overhaul.

This is more than just "cleaning up"—it’s about ensuring every piece of equipment is accounted for, maintained, and ready to serve our youth participants effectively.

Objectives for the Day

  • Precision Inventory: A rigorous count and log of all rugby balls, cones, bibs, and specialized training aids.
  • Strategic Reorganization: Relocating and stacking heavy equipment (tackle bags/pads) to maximize spatial efficiency.
  • Technical Quality Check: Inspecting inflation levels and structural integrity to ensure all gear meets safety standards.
  • Preventative Maintenance: A light sweep of the facility and wipe-down of gear to prevent degradation and ensure longevity.

We approach our operations with a commitment to global sustainability standards:

  • SDG 3 (Good Health & Well-being): We provide safe, reliable equipment to foster physical development and mental wellness in our community.
  • SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption): Meticulous maintenance extends the life-cycle of our materials, reducing our environmental footprint and waste.
  • SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals): Executing this mission at SOS Children's Village reinforces our collaborative efforts to build inclusive community infrastructure.
