Tanay Tree Planting - National Arbor Day 2026 (Roots of Tomorrow)

Environment & Sustainability, Indigenous Peoples, Volunteerism | Jun 28, 2026 | Volunteer Event

Roots of Tomorrow is a 1-hectare reforestation campaign held in celebration of National Arbor Day, bringing together volunteers and partners to plant trees and restore natural ecosystems of Sierra Madre Mountain Range in Tanay, Rizal. It aims to promote environmental responsibility, community action, and a sustainable future, one tree at a time.

In celebration of National Arbor Day 2026, We Lift Club, Inc. (WLC) opens a chapter of collective action, environmental restoration, and community empowerment through its flagship initiative, Roots of Tomorrow: A 1-Hectare Reforestation Campaign. This meaningful gathering will take place on June 28, 2026, in the lush and ecologically significant landscape of Sierra Madre Mountain Range in Tanay, Rizal, a place where nature and community meet in shared purpose.

A portion of the proceeds will further support the HopeFULL Campaign, a parallel initiative of We Lift Club focused on providing educational support and culturally relevant learning materials to Indigenous children, including the establishment of community libraries in Indigenous communities. Through this, every tree planted becomes part of a larger ecosystem of hope, one that nurtures both the land and the future of its people.
