Looking for a meaningful way to spend your Sundays?
Be an After School Program Teacher and Hero!
Every Sunday, our After School Program (ASP) provides free tutorials and mentorship to children from Kinder to Grade 6 in underserved communities. Using the Marungko approach— a proven strategy for teaching beginning reading in Filipino—we aim to strengthen literacy skills, nurture a love for learning, and help prevent school dropouts and early involvement in child labor.
As a volunteer, you’ll play a vital role in:
Assisting in food preparation, set-up, distribution, and clean-up during the feeding program.
Guiding a small group of students by reinforcing reading lessons, supporting their learning journey, and serving as a mentor and friend.
To further enrich their experience, we encourage volunteers to bring snacks, toiletries, coloring books, or crayons—simple gifts that bring joy and comfort to our young learners.
Be part of their growth. Be their hero every Sunday.
