About the Role: Booth Attendant & Rugby Ambassador

We are looking for energetic, welcoming, and community-minded individuals to help us man the Davao Durians RFC booth! You don't need to know how to play rugby to join our team—we'll teach you everything you need to know. If you love sports for development, youth empowerment, and meeting new people, you’ll fit right in.

By joining our booth team, you aren't just promoting an athletic hobby—you are actively advocating for three core global goals through our Sport for Development (S4D) frameworks:

• SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being
• Our Focus: You will invite youth, children, and families into an active, healthy lifestyle, promoting mental resilience and physical well-being through inclusive, non-contact rugby formats like T1 Touch and T1 Tag.
• SDG 5: Gender Equality
• Our Focus: The Durians are deeply committed to breaking sporting stereotypes. At the booth, you will help us champion equal access to sports, specifically highlighting our programs that empower young girls to become confident community leaders.
• SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals
• Our Focus: The Go! Volunteer Expo is all about cross-sector collaboration. As a booth attendant, you are on the front lines of building bridges between grassroots sports, regional non-profits, schools, and community stakeholders to maximize social impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome & Engage: Greet mallgoers, families, and youth, introducing them to the Davao Rugby Inc. community and our inclusive rugby initiatives.
• Run the Interactive Zone: Assist with our mini-booth challenges and assist in scanning the iVolunteer passports.
• Sign-Up Support: Guide interested visitors, teachers, and potential players on how to scan our QR codes to register for upcoming clinics and coach training tracks.
• Safeguarding Champion: Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive environment at the booth in line with our safe sports and child & youth safeguarding policies.

What We’re Looking For:

• High energy, approachable, and comfortable speaking to the public.
• Reliable, punctual, and a great team player.
• Safe Sports Commitment: Must be willing to adhere to the club's youth safeguarding standards during the event.
