About the Event:
The GoVolunteer Expo 2026 is the premier gathering for community impact, connecting passionate individuals with non-profits, charities, and social enterprises. It’s a weekend filled with inspiration, networking, and community building—and we need your creative talents to help us capture the magic!
The Role:
We are seeking enthusiastic, skilled volunteer Photographers and Videographers to document the energy, connections, and key moments of the Expo. Your work will be used to celebrate the event's success, thank our partners, and promote future community initiatives.
Whether you are an experienced professional looking to give back, or a talented student looking to build your portfolio, we want to hear from you!
Shift Options (Saturday & Sunday):
We are looking for coverage across the entire weekend. You can apply for a single shift, a full day, or the whole weekend:
Morning/Early Afternoon Shift: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Sat & Sun)
Late Afternoon/Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Sat & Sun)
Key Responsibilities:
Capture high-quality candid shots of attendees, exhibitors, and speakers.
(For Videographers) Shoot dynamic b-roll footage of the exhibition floor, crowd interactions, and brief highlight moments.
Deliver unedited high-resolution files (or a curated selection) within [Insert Timeline, e.g., 3-5 days] post-event via a shared drive.
Requirements:
Equipment: Must provide your own professional or semi-professional DSLR/mirrorless camera, lenses, and memory cards (and audio/stabilization gear for videographers).
Experience: Previous experience in event photography/videography is highly preferred.
Mindset: Friendly, proactive, and comfortable navigating a bustling event crowd.
