WHO: Iwas Gutom Society (IGS), a grassroots movement focused on helping the unhoused, one meal at a time.
WHAT: Meal-prepping for the unhoused around Manila/QC, followed up by cleaning, packing, and other required work
WHEN: July 5, 2026. 2pm-8pm.
WHERE: We are located at 1658 Alvarez St., Santa Cruz, Manila: https://maps.app.goo.gl/jPFMjEfV7DC1SgdM9 (3-minute walk from LRT-1 Bambang; do ask us for specific directions from UST, LRT-2 Recto or wherever you're from.)
THINGS TO BRING: Your time, presence, and effort will be greatly appreciated. No fees required.
SUGGESTED ATTIRE: Any casual wear that won't put you at risk. While we do help the unhoused, we still need to be careful.
WHY: Why not? Everyone’s a volunteer. Everyone’s a beneficiary. Everyone gets hungry.
