Community Tutorial and Learning Center
Tambayan Center will be conducting Saturday Tutorials , they are one on one sessions with children partners of Tambayan for English and Math subjects.
Activity: Tutorial
We are looking for volunteer tutors with background of rights based approach and will be handling children aging from 11 to 18 years old grade school and Junior high school.
recurring: 4 tutors every Saturday (2 for English and 2 for Math), please check other dates if you are available on other days or willing to repeat
Other task include:
- Math and English Tutor
- Observe the process with existing and supporting tutors
Your shift:
- July 11, 2026 ( 2:00pm - 3:30pm )
Call time:
- 1:00pm - be at the Tambayan Center office for a brief orientation
Expectations:
- A team member will give a short briefing onsite before the tutoring starts
Reminders:
-We do not have transportation provided so please come early and travel safely
-There is no fee for volunteering
-You may bring your own snacks
-Please come on time
Attire:
- Casual and comfortable (no slippers please)
Instructions how to get there: Pag-abot sa Durian World kanto, sakay ug traysikel then ingna ang driver na “pa Tambayan.” Ilado ang opisina and ihatod na mo directly sa driver.
Estimated tricycle fare from Durian World kanto to Tambayan: around ₱10 only (approximately 3 minutes travel time unless naa pay laing ihatod ang driver).
