Volunteer Event
Are you a photographer looking to use your lenses for social good?
The Davao Durians Rugby Football Club is hosting the Kadayawan T1 Rugby Festival at the University of the Philippines Mindanao! T1 Rugby is a fast-paced, fun, and completely non-contact format designed to be fully inclusive. This festival isn't just about sports; it’s a Sport for Development (S4D) initiative deeply committed to integrating the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—promoting community health (SDG 3), youth empowerment (SDG 4), gender equality on the pitch (SDG 5), and safe environments for children (SDG 16).
We need a passionate Volunteer Photographer to help us document the energy, teamwork, and smiles of our youth athletes, coaches, and community partners. Your photos will be vital for our post-event impact reporting and advocacy campaigns!
- What you'll do: Capture high-quality action shots of the T1 matches, candid moments of sportsmanship, volunteer interactions, and key highlights of our SDG-themed side activations.
- What to bring: Your own camera suitable for outdoor sports action, phone camera will also suffice.
- Perks & Logistics:
- Please note that volunteers will need to bring their own packed lunch.
- The club will heartily provide your snacks, water, and refreshments throughout the day to keep you energized!
- You will receive an official Certificate of Volunteer Service and full credit for your photos used in our media.
Safeguarding Commitment
As an organization that operates under strict Child and Youth Safeguarding Policies, all captured media must adhere to our safe-sport guidelines. A brief safeguarding orientation will be provided to the selected volunteer prior to kickoff.
