Are you organized, assertive, and love being right in the middle of the sporting action?

The Davao Durians Rugby Football Club is hosting the Kadayawan T1 Rugby Festival at the University of the Philippines Mindanao! T1 Rugby is an inclusive, non-contact format designed to break barriers and bring community youth together. This festival serves as a Sport for Development (S4D) platform that actively champion the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—specifically focusing on health and well-being (SDG 3), gender equality on the field (SDG 5), and creating peaceful, safe environments for children to play (SDG 16).

To keep our matches running smoothly and on schedule, we are looking for dedicated Pitch Marshals to manage the field operations.

🏃‍♂️ Volunteer Role: Pitch Marshals

• What you'll do:
• Manage individual playing pitches and coordinate with team captains to ensure teams are lined up and ready for their scheduled matches.
• Keep accurate records of match times, scores, and try-scorers.
• Collaborate closely with the T1 Match Officials and the Tournament Director to maintain game momentum.
• Help uphold a positive, encouraging environment on the sidelines in line with our safeguarding standards.

 Timeline

• Event Date: August 22, 2026
• Time Commitment: Full day (approx. 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
• Perks & Logistics:
• Please note that volunteers are responsible for bringing their own packed lunch.
• The club will happily provide your snacks and refreshments throughout the day to keep you hydrated and energized in the sun!
• You will receive an official Certificate of Volunteer Service from iVolunteer Philippines and Davao Durians RFC.

🛡️ Safeguarding Commitment

Because this event involves youth participants, all selected volunteers must strictly adhere to the club's Child and Youth Safeguarding Policy. A mandatory orientation covering basic safe-sport protocols and T1 match mechanics will be provided before the festival kicks off.
