AEP Campus Advocacy Tour Coordinator

Start the Conversation on Your Campus

About the Role

Imagine this: your university, buzzing with conversations about farmed animals, their lives, their struggles, and why they deserve better. That’s exactly what you’ll help create as an AEP Campus Advocacy Tour Coordinator. Between October 3 and 9, 2026, you’ll lead the charge in organizing a Farmed Animal Welfare Week talk on your campus. You’ll team up with student organizations, university staff, and fellow volunteers to manage logistics and on-ground execution, while AEP provides the speaker and the core advocacy message. It’s your campus, your community, and your chance to be a voice for animals who need one. Ready to lead?

Key Responsibilities

  • Reach out to a university organization, student council, department, faculty member, or campus office that may be interested in hosting the talk.
  • Secure the necessary university approvals, venue, and event requirements.
  • Coordinate the event date and schedule with AEP.
  • Recruit a campus-based volunteer team or partner organization.
  • Manage registration, promotions, venue preparation, technical requirements, and on-ground logistics.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between AEP and the university.
  • Promote the event within the campus community.
  • Support the AEP speaker and team during the event.
  • Submit basic event documentation, attendance records, and feedback after the activity.

What We’re Looking For

  • A current student, faculty member, alumnus, or university community member with access to a college or university.
  • Experience in organizing student activities, talks, events, or advocacy campaigns.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work with university organizations and administrative offices.
  • Availability to manage event preparations before October and attend the event in person.
  • Commitment to creating a welcoming and well-organized campus activity.

Expected Commitment

  • Attend planning meetings and volunteer briefings.
  • Coordinate with AEP and the university before the campaign.
  • Organize and manage one campus talk between October 3 and 9, 2026.
  • Submit event documentation after the activity.

About Animal Empathy Philippines

At Animal Empathy Philippines (AEP), we believe farmed animals deserve more than just survival. They deserve a life worth living. As the first non-profit of its kind in the Philippines, we've been working since 2021 to turn that belief into reality. We empower everyday Filipinos to become advocates, push for evidence-based policies, and raise a generation of leaders who will never stop fighting for animals. Because in our vision of the Philippines, every animal lives their best life.
