Volunteer Event
The Coin (Computer and Internet) Grant is a project of Create Foundation that aims to facilitate computer ownership as well as ensure internet access, at least for a year, to students, home-based employees, and community workers who know how to use a computer, tablet, or phone, and navigate the internet, but do not have the means to purchase.
We are always on the lookout for sponsors or partners that are able to donate, or give discounts, for laptops and internet subscriptions. As a Lead Generation volunteer, you will be helping us to do the following:
Identify & Map Potential Donors: Research and curate a target list of corporate partners, tech companies, internet service providers, and local businesses open to donating or discounting laptops and internet subscriptions.
Pipeline Management & Hand-off: Maintain an organized database of leads, to Create Foundation’s team.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old
Able to commit to a minimum of 3-5 hours per week, or depending on the role assigned
Willing to undergo any required training or orientation before starting
Able to attend on-site activities, if required by the role
Willingness to comply with the Foundation's Code of Conduct and safety policies
Once you have expressed your interest in volunteering via the iVolunteer website, the Create Foundation team will reach out with the simple next steps to get you started!
