The ability to read is a fundamental right, yet many young Filipino children struggle to grasp this essential skill. At Binhi English Literacy Foundation, Inc. (BINHI), we're working to change that, one child at a time. As a Social Media Ambassador, your voice will amplify BINHI's mission across online communities, inspiring others to join the cause and helping us reach even more children in need of literacy support.

About the Project

Founded in 2008, BINHI aims to improve English reading skills among identified non- and frustrated readers, aged 4-8, in public elementary schools and community centers through its 100-day free reading program.

Every month, social media ambassadors will help BINHI by liking, sharing, and commenting on our posts in various social media channels so we can introduce our advocacy to a wider audience and encourage others to become BINHI Reading Warriors themselves.

Qualifications and Requirements

Before becoming a BINHI Social Media Ambassador, one must pass the following criteria:

• An advocate of literacy and independent learning
• Willing to commit at least 5 minutes of his/her time per day for 1 month so you can like, share, and comment on BINHI's social media postings
• Must have a gadget and access to a stable internet connection
• Must be knowledgeable of the common social media apps (Facebook, Instagram)

Activity Completion

• To officially complete your volunteer service and be accounted for, you must be featured at least once on BINHI’s Facebook Weekly Engagement List.

Expect to receive an email at least 3 days prior to the commitment date with the rest of the details.
