The ability to read is a fundamental right, yet many young Filipino children struggle to grasp this essential skill. At Binhi English Literacy Foundation, Inc. (BINHI), we're working to change that, one child at a time. As a Volunteer Content Creator, your creativity will help nurture a love for reading through impactful content creation.

About the Project

Founded in 2008, BINHI aims to improve English reading skills among identified non- and frustrated readers, aged 4-8, in public elementary schools and community centers through its 100-day free reading program.

Through engaging and brand-aligned digital content, our Content Creators play a vital role in in inspiring a broader community to support children's literacy. The projects will be subdivided into:

• Presentation layout for virtual storytelling
• Holiday features
• Article writing

To ensure volunteers are well-prepared, a virtual self-paced content creation module will be shared followed by a Regrouping Orientation via Google Meet.

Volunteer Duties

• Review the content creators' module released via Canva Sites
• Provide a portfolio for pre-screening
• Attend a virtual orientation
• Submit an initial content 10 days before your scheduled deadline
• Submit the final content at least 5 days prior to your scheduled deadline

Timeline of Activities

• August 8, 2026 (Saturday) at 1:00 PM – Release of BINHI Volunteer Content Creators' Module via Canva Sites
• August 9-13, 2026 – Self-paced Learning for BINHI Volunteer Content Creators' Module (Asynchronous via Canva Sites)
  – Submission of portfolio
• August 14, 2026 (Friday) – BINHI Volunteer Content Creators' Regrouping Orientation (Synchronous via Google Meet*)
  – Selection of content creatior project

* A Google Calendar invite will be sent at least a week before the Regrouping Orientation.

We can only accommodate 1 BINHI Content Creator per project. Applicants will be pre-screened based on their submitted portfolio.
