Laro, Liderato, at Lakas ng Kabataan

The Davao Durians Rugby Football Club is celebrates the Linggo ng Kabataan with a special Juniors Rugby Training Session, bringing together youth from SOS Children’s Village Davao, Foundation of Balay Pasilungan, Balay Kalamboan, and Anawim Rugby.

We are looking for passionate, dedicated volunteers to help us create a fun, empowering, and safe environment on the field!

Event Details

  • Date: Sunday, August 9, 2026
  • Time: 2:30pm - 4:30pm
  • Location: SOS Children’s Village Davao, Davao City

Roles Needed

  • Associate T1 Rugby Coaches: Assist head coaches in running non-contact T1 Rugby drills, active games, and skill stations.
  • Youth Mentors: Guide team activities, build confidence, cheer on participants, and help manage group energy throughout the session.

What Volunteers Should Bring

  • Appropriate Sports Attire: Light, breathable activewear (t-shirt and athletic shorts/joggers) and comfortable rubber shoes or turf shoes suitable for running on grass.
  • Reusable Water Bottle: Refill stations will be available on-site—help us keep the event eco-friendly and plastic-free!
  • Personal Snacks: Light snacks to keep your energy up during breaks (simple refreshments will also be provided).

The safety, dignity, and protection of every participant is our highest priority.

  • All volunteers will be required to sign and adhere strictly to the Davao Durians RFC Safeguarding Code of Conduct throughout the activity.

  • By Public Transport (Jeepney): Take any northbound jeepney routing through J.P Laurel to Lanang. Get off by 7Eleven across DCWD Bajada. Ride tricycle to SOS Children's Village, 15 pesos fare
  • Can do via Cabaguio route, depart at Assumption College of Davao corner.  Ride tricycle near Panadero 15peso fare.
  • By Private Vehicle / Taxi / Ride-Hailing: Search for "SOS Children's Village Davao" on Google Maps or Grab. Make sure it shows the football field space behind Ono Dera Run. Parking spaces are available on-site; please inform security at the gate that you are attending the Davao Durians RFC training session.
