Volunteer Event

The Philippine Jesuit Prison Service Foundation, Inc. is a community of Jesuit and Volunteers who share in the mission of Christ through prison ministry. Imbued with Ignatian Spirituality, it is an effective agent in promoting and working towards holistic rehabilitation of incarcerated individuals and their families.
The foundation has different programs such as Scholarship, Social-Medical, Advocacy, Pastoral and Formation Program. We need volunteers for the following:
1) Formation Session of Scholars
College Scholars - 10 volunteers
(every first Sunday of the month starting July 2016-March 2017)
High School Scholars - 10 volunteers
(every second Sunday of the month starting July 2016-March 2017)
Elementary Scholars - 10 volunteers
(every third Sunday of the month starting July 2016-March 2017)
2) Formation Session of Mothers/Parents
College Mothers/Parents - 10 volunteers
(every first Sunday of the month starting July 2016-March 2017)
HS Mothers/Parents - 10 volunteers
(every second Sunday of the month starting July 2016-March 2017)
Elementary Mothers/Parents - 10 volunteers
(every third Sunday of the month starting July 2016-March 2017)
*Formation session of scholars is simultaneous with the formation of their parents.
3) Tutorials for the Scholars - 5 volunteers
Tutor elementary and high school scholars every Saturday starting June 2016 - March 2017
4) Monthly Formation Session of Inmates - 5 volunteers
Help in the values and spiritual formation of inmates at different camps.
(Monthly from March 2016 - March 2017)
5) Paralegal Volunteers - 5 volunteers
Paralegal assistance for inmates (Every weekend from April 2016 - March 2017)
6) Raise Funds for Prison Awareness - 5 volunteers (August 2016 - October 2016)
7) Prison Awareness Activities - 25 volunteers (October 2016)
Willing to help in the packing and distribution of lootbags for the
visitorless, indigent, sick and old inmates (viso)
