We’re looking for iVolunteer Learning & Development Officers who want to help our volunteers learn, grow, lead, and create greater impact.
iVolunteer Philippines is a non-profit organization run 100% by volunteers who contribute their time, talent, and passion to nation-building as ambassadors of volunteerism.
As part of the Internals & Organization Development (IOD) team, our Learning & Development Officers help strengthen the capabilities of our internal volunteers and develop the next generation of iVolunteer leaders.
Role Description
As a Learning & Development Officer, you will:
- Design, develop, and facilitate trainings, workshops, and other learning initiatives that support the growth and development of iVolunteer’s internal volunteers.
- Assess learning and development needs and help identify capability gaps across teams and pillars.
- Align learning initiatives with identified development needs, organizational priorities, and iVolunteer’s leadership and succession goals.
- Coordinate with different pillars, leaders, facilitators, and resource persons in planning and delivering learning programs.
- Maintain and continuously improve iVolunteer’s learning resources and training database, making relevant materials accessible for organizational use.
- Support leadership and capability-building initiatives, including Leaders’ Lab and other programs that strengthen iVolunteer’s leadership bench.
- Be an ambassador of volunteerism, uphold iVolunteer’s values, and collaborate actively with fellow volunteers across the organization.
What We’re Looking For
We’d love to work with someone who:
- Has experience or demonstrated capability in project management.
- Has experience in designing, developing, facilitating, or coordinating trainings, workshops, and other learning programs.
- Has knowledge and interest in learning & development, human resources, volunteer development, and people engagement.
- Can help organize and manage learning resources, training records, and databases.
- Communicates and collaborates effectively with different people and teams.
- Can work effectively in a primarily virtual, volunteer-driven organization with a start-up culture.
- Demonstrates initiative, ownership, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
- Most importantly, has the passion to promote volunteerism and contribute to nation-building.
Recruitment Process
Volunteers who sign up for the role will be scheduled for a short interview with the iVolunteer team.
Only shortlisted candidates will be invited to the in-person Orientation on 19 September 2026.
