The Philippine Jesuit Prison Service Foundation, Inc. is a community of Jesuit and Volunteers who share in the mission of Christ through prison ministry. Imbued with Ignatian Spirituality, it is an effective agent in promoting and working towards holistic rehabilitation of incarcerated individuals and their families.
One of the programs of the Foundation is the Scholarship Program where we send the children of inmates to school who are from various levels, elementary, high school and college respectively. Aside from the financial assistance we also give formation programs to the scholars.
What: Volunteers who will give or facilitate sessions for the scholars, can teach kids at any level, can give community-building activities, good animator and listener.
Where: Sessions will be held at INAP Multi-purpose Hall

When: Session will be held every Sunday, 1-5PM starting July 2016.
College Scholars - 10 volunteers
(every first Sunday of the month starting July 2016-March 2017)
High School Scholars - 10 volunteers
(every second Sunday of the month starting July 2016-March 2017)
Elementary Scholars - 10 volunteers
(every third Sunday of the month starting July 2016-March 2017)
Just bring yourself! Your presence is greatly needed because these children suffer the stigma of having a father/parent who is incarcerated. They need somebody who will listen, understand, inspire and guide them because despite their situation there is always hope.
