Blood is Life! We need your help to have our blood bank replenished for those who need them in the future.

The Philippine Blood Disease and Transfusion Center is the government blood bank of the Department of Health. It aims to supply safe and adequate blood by conducting blood drives. Volunteers can come by any time between 8:00 AM until 3:00 PM of May 13 to donate.

Who can donate blood:

- 16 to 65 years old
- Not pregnant
- No menstrual period
- Must weigh 50 kgs or up
- Must have taken 6-8 hours of sleep
- Must have eaten their breakfast/lunch
- No travel aboard (must be more than 1 year)
- No needle puncture procedure (eg. tattoo) (must be more than 1 year)
- No surgery (minor/major)
- No cough, colds or fever
- No medication taken
- No alcohol taken within 24 hours
