Jollibee treats & games for orphans of PSOD

Children & Youth | Nov 21, 2013 | Volunteer Event

Nov 21, 1pm

The Philippine Society for Orphan Disorders (PSOD) is an organization that aims to continue the efforts of doctors to ensure sustainability of medical and financial support of patients with rare disorders. With the help of the Institute of Human Genetics (IHG) and its partner organizations and donors, PSOD works on becoming the central network for the advocacy and effective coordination of all viable efforts to sustain a better equality of life for individuals for orphans with rare disorders in the Philippines.

On Nov 21, we will be reaching out to patients and their guardians for a Jollibee treat and games at their Quezon Theatre branch fronting Araneta Coliseum beside National Bookstore. Hope you can take time on a weekday to volunteer with us. We hope that this will be a fruitful and learning encounter with the families.

We will be partnering you with 1 kid for a 2-3 hours mixture of activities filled with fun, learning and impact for a minimal sponsor fee of Php 250. Students can sponsor for Php 150. Your sponsorship is your registration for it already includes your own ID, food, materials and gifts. We also welcome volunteers 7-15 years old provided they will be paired with an adult. Please come in white shirt and bring extra shirt, pens and water bottle whenever you volunteer with us. More information on the event and how to volunteer will be conducted 30 minutes before we start. You may also contact us at +639178874278. Thank U!
