What:
AdvenTURO is coming over to teach! We (the volunteers) will come over to conduct instruction and impart knowledge to our indigenous brothers and sisters of the Aeta Magbukún tribe in Biaan, Mariveles, Bataan
AdvenTOUR is coming over to learn! We (the volunteers) will come over to learn through an educational, a cultural and an environmental immersion with them.
When:
June 9-10, 2018
*DAY 1 Saturday, June 9, 2018
0500 AM estimated time of departure (ETD) from Manila Meeting Place: McDonald's, Taft Ave, Open 24 hours (Near De La Salle / In front of Benilde)
0530 AM Heading to Mariveles
0900 AM estimated time of arrival (ETA) to Mt. San Miguel, Sisiman, Mariveles, Bataan Sightseeing / Breakfast
1030 AM - 1200 PM Orientation / Lunch Meeting for service project for Day 2
1300 PM FREE AFTERNOON (See suggested activities below.)
1300 PM Explore Five Fingers
1800 PM Check In at Talain Travelers Lodge, Balon Mariveles Bataan / Dinner
2100 PM Lights off
*DAY 2 Sunday, June 10, 2018
0700 AM Wake up call, prepare Breakfast
0900 AM Community Immersion
1130 AM Lunch
1300 PM Estimated time of departure (ETD) from Mariveles
1600 PM estimated time of arrival (ETA) to Manila
Fee:
There is a contribution Fee amounting to ₱1,500 only per person. It includes;
*₱1,000 round trip rental for van/sevice vehicle Manila to Bataan to Manila / tour around Mariveles good for 2 days + food + accomodation of 1 driver and 1 assistant
*₱500 Travelers' Lodge overnight stay w/ TV Wifi aircon 4 pax per room
Optional only:
*₱400 banca/boat rental to explore island coves
*₱300 donations Feeding Program for 100 Aetas Kids (Boodle Fight Lunch)
Personal Pocket Money:
Food is KKB. The estimate food allowance good for 2 days is
*₱1,000 (₱500 a day)

*Storytelling

*Bonding through Fun, Games and Food
What do I need to know and prepare?
*Time Schedules - Expected Time of Arrival (ETA) and Expected Time of Departure (ETD) to and from the site
*Point of departure and areas to visit
*Necessary and miscellaneous expenses
*Proper and appropriate clothing
*Packed food (baon) if applicable, other food and drinking water
*Discipline and behavior protocol during the trip and at the site.
*Available free time and lunch time
*Available transportation
*Ensure that all volunteers are in good health.
*Ensure that all volunteers are informed of the AdvenTURO (AdvenTOUR)'s Rules/Guidelines
*In case of emergency, AdvenTURO (AdvenTOUR)'s representative will contact Emergency Contact Person of the volunteer.
