Native Tree Planting in Mounts Banahaw-San Cristobal Protected Landscape

Environment & Sustainability | Aug 04, 2018 | Volunteer Event

Join us in restoring our forests in Mts. Banahaw-San Cristobal Protected Landscape! Tree plantings occur from June to December during the rainy season, this way the survival rates of newly-planted seedlings are higher. At each tree planting you get to learn about:
  • The native tree species you will plant
  • Foresters in charge of using and teaching proper Rainforestation methods
  • Local government groups & stakeholders
  • The People's Organizations who help ensure the trees survive their first years
Though many have planted trees thorughout the years, more and more people are needed to help bring back our forests. It is more than an activity, it should be a tradition as it is a great way to connect with friends as well as nature. It not only contributes to a healthier ecosystem, but a healthier you!

A registration fee of P350 entitles you to a volunteer slot, inclusive of seedling. This does not include land transportation and food. Our staff will send you a directional guide on how to get to the meet-up venue.

Should you be interested in carpooling with us, please send an email to support@haribon.org.ph and wait for confirmation of seats prior to making your donation. If we confirmed that there are available seats, kindly pay a total of P1,000 (already inclusive of P350 registration fee).
