Campaigning and promoting the concept of volunteerism broadly
Providing volunteers an easy way to find volunteering opportunities that matches their skills and interest
We are looking for individuals who:
Are professional and accountable as a volunteer. Our core strengths in the technology team is being Coachable and Adaptable. We like reliable, smart people who can work professionally, are able to deliver their tasks as promised, can show up to meetings and calls as scheduled and are willing to learn new technologies necessary to complete tasks.
Are willing to be active in iVolunteer’s volunteer opportunities and participate in our internal activities.
Have the following:
Tech skills: Has working knowledge of PHP, Laravel, Javascript, SQL, HTML, CSS and JQUERY. Git, Linux and DevOps experience is a plus!
Soft skills: Can work effectively in a virtual organization with a startup culture and can collaborate well being part of a team.
Since our team uses Facebook and Google a lot, should be knowledgeable in using Facebook Groups, messaging and hangouts for team collaboration.
About the iVolunteer Philippines’ Technology Team
We are a team of volunteers first who happen to also be knowledgeable about technology.
The Technology Team is responsible for making sure our website is well maintained and also for adding new features serving the needs of our NGO and volunteer communities.
We have a big dream to build the next version of our website with new features that will help our volunteer opportunities to be highlighted.
