Volunteer Event
Pio Valenzuela Elementary School invites you to be part of our Brigada Eskwela 2014! A public school maintenance and rehabilitation project in preparation for the coming school year! You can be a volunteer or a sponsor!
We are looking for natural groups composed of 10-20 members who are willing to jump in and get their hands dirty! Individuals are welcome to join too! You can help clean classrooms, repaint blackboards, repair chairs and cabinets and other related activities in Pio Valenzuela Elementary school!
You may volunteer from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm on May 24, 2014. You may choose a portion of the hours during that day. Pls inform contact person if you're not completing the whole schedule.
It would really be nice if you can bring any of the following:
Paints (green blackboard paint, white Permacoat Gloss Latex paint, Semi Gloss Enamel # 200, brown Quick Drying Enamel)
Painting Materials (paint roller, paintbrush, paint thinner)
Construction Materials (wall putty, hammer, wood saw, nails, Portland cement, gravel, sand, shovel)
Cleaning Materials (floor wax, detergent, rags, plastic garbage can, garbage bag, walis tambo, walis tingting, dust pan)
School Supplies (white chalk, colored chalk, blackboard eraser)
