Binhi English Literacy Foundation Inc. is an NGO founded in Manila in 2008 to help out-of- school children and students who are at risk of not completing their primary education because of the absence of learning support in their homes and their communities especially in this time of the pandemic. The Covid-19 pandemic can be life-changing for all children, we believe that it is necessary to raise awareness on the importance of continued education using alternative learning methods through online and other platforms.
In response to the new norm in learning, the Binhi program for SY 2020-21 was revised in adaptation to the modified basic education approach of the Department of Education. The Modified Binhi Program or the Binhi ClassHome Kit, will be using the same 24-week literacy program, utilizing an online and modular instead of face to face approach by using a self-learning module with corresponding instructional videos.
With this, we are looking for a Volunteer Video Editor to assemble recorded instructional videos into a finished project that is suitable for the Binhi ClassHome Kit program.
Requirements
Proven work experience as a Video Editor
Experience with digital technology and editing software packages
Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity
Has the passion to promote volunteerism in the country
Works effectively in a virtual organization
Is professional and accountable as a volunteer
Responsibilities
Be oriented on the ClassHome Kit to grasp the production team’s needs and specifications.
Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the videos.
Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects that are pleasing to the kids/parents/audience
Create rough and final cuts
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running (video & audio)
Consult with Binhi staff for the post-production process
Follow the sequencing guide/template made by Binhi staff
Upload rendered videos.
