Founded in 2013, Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization with the goal of achieving world peace and the cessation of war. With over 70 branches in Korea and another 100 branches around the world, HWPL is committed to practical approach to world peace through the establishment of international peace initiatives in legal, social, and religious aspect.  

One of HWPL’s occurring programs is about interfaith dialogue wherein the participants are all religious leaders from different race, culture and language. Hence, proper transcription is needed. Due to the broad objectives of HWPL, the organization is to boot acquiring researchers to be given with certain topics to comply. 

Currently HWPL is looking for the following volunteers:

  • Transcriptionists - to transcribe speeches from events/webinar, interfaith dialogues and interviews precisely.
  • Researchers - to research the following topics:
    • Different beliefs and doctrines of a religion regarding a subject matter
    • Religious leaders in the Philippines
    • Media organizations in the Philippines

What are we going to learn as a volunteer?

1. Awareness about human rights notably on freedom of religion

2. Develop strong listening skills and fast and accurate typing skills

3. Improve language and proofreading skills

4. Learn about different religions, develop respect and harmony

5. Know more about HWPL's peace initiatives especially in the Philippines, and receive invitation for webinars
