Are you good at writing? Do you have talent in writing & research? Then we need you! Help spread the advocacies of our NGO partners through your heart-warming write-ups.
What is 'Tara! Sulat Tayo’?
Tara! Sulat Tayo aims to bring volunteers with expertise in writing and research to help our NGO partners reach to more volunteers and cause-ambassadors. If you have talent in writing letter templates, doing short research with summaries, writing education modules or doing transcription, then we would love to have you on Nov 20!
What do I need to do?
We will collect writing work requests from our iVolunteer NGO partners. We will then assign you, volunteers, to the NGOs based on the type of skill you have and the work requested by the NGO. For example, if the NGO needs a sponsorship letter for their upcoming project, and you have done letter writing before, then we will match you with this NGO! By Nov 15, we will ask you for samples of your writing work so we can match you with an NGO.
On Nov 20, there will be a short program (virtual, over Google Meets), to kickoff the work and for you to get to know the assigned NGO. You will then need to complete the writing work from Nov 20 - 27 (1 week!) on your own time. An iVolunteer buddy and NGO contact will be assigned to you, who you can give you feedback as you finish your work.
Will I get a certificate?
For volunteer who are able to complete their work, iVolunteer will be happy to send an appreciation and completion certificate (digital). You will also have the gratitude of your host NGO. :)
