Description Roles and Responsibilities:

Volunteer researchers and writers will gather on all the disasters that occurred in the Philippines.
Each volunteer will be assigned to a particular month. Sources of the data will all publications, nationally circulated newspapers, and the local newspapers. Other sources will be NDRRMC reports and DSWD's Disaster Response Operations Monitoring and Information Center Phivolvs, PAGASA.

CDRC volunteers will benefit by:

(1) Gaining first-hand exposure to Philippine Disaster Situation and Climate change issues faced by the communities.

(2) Enhancing skills in disaster situation reports (desk research) and opportunity to learn the advocacy and training on Community-based disaster managemet.

(3) Expanding contact with fellow volunteers

(4) Helping vulnerable communities address the worsening effects of climate change and the covid-19 pandemic.
