Tanglaw Stories! Call for Content Creators/Editors

Community Development, Digital & Technology, Electrification & Energy, Indigenous Peoples | May 21, 2023 | Volunteer Event

Solar Hope is an NGO that provides solar and sustainable solutions to marginalized communities in the Philippines. Since 2017, they have lighted more than 2000 homes in remote and unelectrified areas in Region IV.

Project Tanglaw is Solar Hope's household electrification project that aims to light the households of remote and unelectrified areas. Part of Solar Hope's objective is to know the community better and know if how the solar impacts their lives. This were done through different ways such as community interviews, consultations, photo/video documentation and focus-group discussions.

Solar Hope now has lots of data and stories with hidden treasures waiting to be told and unfold from our adopted communities.

Hence, we need your help by being part of our Content Creator/Editor team!

Volunteering Objectives:
1. Assess the consolidated photos/videos/stories from the previous community outreaches and see if it could be turned into Tanglaw stories either in a form of narrative article or story video.

2. Shed light not only to Solar Hope but also to its volunteers and partners how electrification impacts the lives of the communities.

Schedules and milestones to be agreed by the team.

Join us as we dig deeper the treasures behind the stories of how electrification impacted the lives of our communities.
