Support our English Literacy Program. We want to document the start of the reading journey of our BINHI Scholars in their Bin Turnover and Parent Commitment Activity and we need volunteer photographers and videographers to help us.

About the Project

Founded in 2008, Binhi English Literacy Foundation Inc. (BINHI) aims to improve English reading skills to identified non- and frustrated readers aged between 5-8 years old in public elementary schools and community centers.

At the start of every BINHI School Year, a Bin Turnover and Parent Commitment Activity is conducted wherein all materials to be used for the duration of the program are provided for by BINHI and parents of the chosen BINHI scholars are asked to sign commitment forms and waivers. This event is joined by teachers, parents, and students, and other stakeholders who will help mold another set of confident readers from non- and struggling readers.

We need your help to capture this important milestone in the reading journey of our BINHI Scholars.

Qualifications and Requirements

Before becoming a BINHI Photographer/Videographer, one must pass the following criteria:

• an advocate of literacy and independent learning
• must have a DSLR camera or any equivalent high-quality camera
• willing to commit at least 2 hours of his/her time based on your chosen schedule/s from October 2-5
• willing to travel in any of the following areas: Calamba City, Manila City, Parañaque City, Pasay City, Pasig City, Quezon City

Expect to receive an email at least 3 days prior to the Culminating Activity with the rest of the details (things to bring, directions, etc.)

We can only accommodate 3 photographers/videographers per activity. Volunteers after the 3rd registrant will automatically be waitlisted subject on a first-come, first-served basis.
