Be part of the iVolunteer Philippines staff! We need iVolunteer School Coordinator!
iVolunteer Philippines is a non-profit organization (NGO) that is run 100% by Volunteers. The goal of iVolunteer is to transform individuals to become caring & active citizens. In order to establish such a culture, the organization has to constantly generate content and stories that will accurately represent the organization, volunteers, and our NGO partners. This project charter will last for three (3) months and will help you understand the importance of your role as a content manager, setting expectations and timelines on necessary deliverables
Scope Statement (Expected results/desired outcomes):
- Work with the cross functional team in co-creating strategies in order to encourage engagement and development of the school partners;
- Work with Volunteer Engagement and Development (VED) team in identifying schools that iVolunteer can partner to promote volunteerism;
- Coordinate relevant people the needed support for school engagement activities to be conducted; and
- Establish a database of schools for monitored attendance, engagement, and development with iVolunteer.
Competencies Required:
1. Good written communication both in Filipino and English
2. Has the passion to promote volunteerism in the country
3. Works effectively in a virtual organization with a start-up culture and collaborates effectively being part of a team
4. Is professional and accountable as a volunteer
Volunteers who will sign up for the role shall be scheduled for a short online interview on February 16, 2024. Only shortlisted candidates shall be invited for the Physical Orientation on February 17, 2024.
