Description

Saving Strays Philippines is an initiative dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of caring for stray cats and creating a safe environment for them. It was launched in May 2023 as an awareness campaign and sustainability plan in Cats of Sorrento, and has now evolved into an Overall Development Program and Community Platform. The program aims to address stray animal welfare issues in the Philippines by implementing a comprehensive strategy that includes advocacy awareness, community engagement, volunteer mobilization, and sustainable development initiatives.

 

Role Description

This is a voluntary remote role as a Community Program Coordinator. The Community Program Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as program management, community engagement, communication, program development, and community outreach. The role involves collaborating with stray communities, individual rescuers, and animal organizations to implement the SavingStrays Program initiatives.

 

Qualifications

  • Program Management and Program Development skills
  • Community Engagement and Community Outreach skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Passionate for stray's welfare advocacy
  • Experience in working with stray communities, rescuers, and animal welfare organizations
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Knowledge of animal welfare issues in the Philippines is a plus
  • Experience in organizing events and campaigns

Certification

A Certificate of Completion will be provided at the end of the project.

You will also be given a Welcome Kit including an Official Merch of @SavingStraysPH.
