Objective of the Event:
U! Happy Events was again invited to partner with the Quezon City Government, Department of Education and JCI Capitol’s annual event Camp Pag-Ibig held during Valentine’s Day.
Now on its 40th year, the annual event gathers 2,000+ special children from different SPED (Special Education) schools in Quezon City.
The event aims to raise awareness on the needs of these SPED students.
The kids will be treated to two workshops. We will have a fun Zumba workshop with the kids and an equally challenging Acting Workshop. The workshops are there to develop a new skill with the child and teaches them to follow the instructions given by the workshop masters.
Volunteers will be the kuyas and ates of the kids and will join in as the both workshop happens. There will also be fun games for them to get to know each other better as they spend the day with these kids.
Beneficiary: 2000 SPED kids from various Special Education Schools in Quezon City.
How to get to the venue: Manila Water Compound, Katipunan, Quezon City (go through gate and inquire or follow directional signs to the venue)
Fee: Minimal sponsor fee of Php 250 for adults and Php 150 for students. Fee includes your own food, personal ID, U! Happy Events Baller Band and a pen. Your partner kid will also get food, materials and gifts. Payments to be made on the day itself.
