1 Mangrove Conservation Project Coordinator & 1 Support Staff
Location: General Santos City Project
Duration: May 20, 2024 – May 1, 2026
Contract Type: Full-time, Project-based We’re looking for individuals with a background in coastal ecosystems and a strong commitment to supporting local communities to oversee and implement a small project focused on mangrove restoration and community capacity building.
Key Responsibilities: Engage and collaborate with community partners and other stakeholders Help manage and maintain a mangrove nursery Organize and facilitate trainings, field activities, and educational events Conduct youth conservation camps (on mangroves) Develop and prepare materials for information and education campaigns Manage the project’s social media presence
Qualifications:
Work experience in conservation, community development, or education; a relevant academic background is a plus, but not required Has demonstrated strong organization, communication, and project management skills Comfortable working with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and corporate entities Proficient in basic computer tools and internet use Creative and skilled in creating digital content
