We are looking for passionate and committed individuals to serve as Guest Speakers for two special sessions at SOS Children’s Village Davao:

Values Formation Session

🎯 Topic: Instilling Positive Values and Character Development

Behavioral, Mental, and Emotional Wellness Session
📅 Date: May 27, 2025
🕙 Time: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
📍 Location: SOS Children’s Village Davao
🎯 Topic: Promoting Mental, Emotional, and Behavioral Well-being among Children and Youth

🌟 Why Is Volunteering Important?

Volunteering allows you to share your knowledge and experience to inspire and uplift others, especially vulnerable children and youth. At SOS Children's Village, your voice can help spark transformation, build confidence, and contribute to the holistic development of the next generation. As a speaker, you play a vital role in shaping values and encouraging mental and emotional wellness—two crucial aspects of lifelong growth.

🧑‍🏫 Volunteer Role and Responsibilities

As a guest speaker, you will:

1. Prepare and deliver a 45–60-minute interactive talk or presentation.

2.  Engage with children and youth through age-appropriate content.

3. Encourage questions and active participation.

4. Coordinate with SOS staff for session flow and materials (if needed).

5. Respect the values and mission of SOS Children’s Village.

⏳ Duration

One-time volunteer opportunity

Each session lasts 1 hour (10:00–11:00 AM)

🧠 Skills and Experience

1. Experience in public speaking, child/youth engagement, or facilitation.

2. Passion for child and youth development.

3. Empathy, sensitivity, and a positive attitude.

📅 Availability

Must be available on either or both of the following dates:

May 26, 2025 (Values Formation)

May 27, 2025 (Mental and Emotional Wellness)

🧭 Orientation Date

A short online or on-site orientation will be scheduled on May 23, 2025, at 2:00 PM
