Coastal Clean-Up with Nature Walk Activity at LPPWP

Help us restore the 181-hectare wetland of Las Pinas – Paranaque Wetland Park, known as the “last frontier” in Metro Manila and the first critical habitat established in the Philippines.  

 

Project Objectives:

  • Help and teach volunteers to identify trash.
  • Raise awareness of the importance of consumption lifestyle
     
  • Lessen the bad effects of climate change by expressing our concern for the environment
  • Bring people closer to the waste problem so  they to see it firsthand and encourage them to change a personal habit

Details:

  • Registration fee: Php 500.00 (Sacks, permit processing and honorarium and food of Assigned Park Rangers)
  • Carpooling: (wala pong public transportation going to LPPCHEA) to be discussed with participants

Proper Attire:

  • Dark-colored, off-shaded clothes
  • Pants
  • Shoes or Rainboots
  • Cap or anything to cover your head from the sun

 

Participants Need to Bring:

  • Gardening gloves “Reusable or Rubber”
  • Sacks
  • Extra clothes (shirt, pants, and footwear)
  • Personal hygiene items
  • Personal First Aid kit
  • tongs (Optional but recommended)
  • Water tumbler
  • Face towel or handkerchief
  • Raincoat or Umbrella

Q: Can children or high school student volunteers register?
A: Yes, but Minors must be accompanied by an authorized adult guardian(s).

Q: Can I wear colorful and loud colors?
A: If you plan to do bird watching It is highly not recommended as bright colors
