Detailed Description:
Objective of the Event:
The special movie screening aims to take the kids to different environment and give them a good time through watching movies. Oftentimes, these kids only get to watch movies through DVDs or movies on television. With this event, we aim to have them experience watching a movie in the big screen.
This is Kung Fu Panda’s 3rd film franchise and Po has always been a favorite character among the young ones. The kids will be to see Po and the other characters take on a new adventure with this film.
Volunteers will be the kuyas and ates of the kids as they accompany the kids during the film and share in the experience of this movie.

A-HA! Learning Center is a center that provides free tutoring for public school children living in Makati. The center aims to do the following:
to help in the total development of the child, through the values of Jesus Christ
to provide free tutoring and mentoring services to public school children most in need in the community
to create a community of responsible, committed and loving volunteers
Their goal for the students are:
to develop the child holistically
to create independent and resilient thinkers who can think critically, read fluently and comprehend by themselves
to communicate through speech and writing effectively
How to get to the venue:
Take the MRT To Ayala Station. SM is directly connected to MRT Ayala Station. SM, Park Square, Landmark, Glorietta, Greenbelt was connected together via foot bridges. Meet us at the lobby of Greenbelt 3, Cinema 5.
Ride the bus/FX to Ayala and get off at Makati Avenue. Landmarks are Makati Shangri-La Hotel, 6750 Ayala Avenue Office Tower and Rustan’s. Walk towards Glorietta, SM, Park Square, Glorietta, Landmark and Greenbelt are connected together via foot bridges. Meet us at the lobby of Greenbelt 3, Cinema 5.
Fee: Sponsor a child and watch a movie for P800 each (includes your ticket, child’s ticket, snacks for the both of you, transpo for the child).
Reminders: To volunteer, register thru +639178874278. Once your slot is confirmed, just show up at the scheduled date/venue. Please wear comfortable and appropriate clothing. Jewelries are not encouraged. Please be on time.
