The ability to read is a fundamental right, yet many young Filipino children struggle to grasp this essential skill. At Binhi English Literacy Foundation, Inc. (BINHI), we're working to change that, one child at a time. As a Volunteer Graphic Artist, your support will help us create powerful visuals for our social media page, ensuring we're raising awareness and support for our mission.

About the Project

Founded in 2008, BINHI aims to improve English reading skills among identified non- and frustrated readers, aged 5-8, in public elementary schools and community centers through its 100-day free reading program.

As as volunteer graphic designer, you will produce engaging graphics for our social media pages that adheres with our brand identity to better share our message.

Qualifications and Requirements

We're looking for individuals who are:

• Passionate advocates for literacy.
• Able to listen and pay attention to important details.
• Willing to commit at least 12 hours of their time on the month of September.
• Proficient in graphic design software (e.g. Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Can work remotely with minimal supervision.
• Has their own laptop and design software.

Schedules

• 1st week of September: Initial onboarding/orientation
• 2nd-3rd week of September: Submission of initial design studies/feedbacking
• 4th week of September: Submission of final designs/turnover

Expect to receive an email at least 3 days prior to the commitment date with the rest of the details.
